I love this flowy, woodsy take on magnolia blossoms. No flower reminds me of Southern elegance like a big white magnolia. While I was under the tutelage of Atlanta artist Michelle Armas, she inspired the underpainting, then I reined in its wildness with this homage to magnolias. I added painterly branches for movement and extra color.

Art prints are based on high-res scans of original artwork, and printed with archival inks on hot-press fine art paper. 8×10” prints have a .25” white border, ready to fit into a standard 8×10” mat or frame.
