The Indigo Garden series is evocative and serene. Inspired by coastal New England hydrangeas with their hues of baby blue, french blue, periwinkle, lime, and olive green… then enveloped in the stillness of deep indigo. I painted this series to remind myself to rest, and to sing a sweet sing in the midst of darkness.
